About Elisa Velarde, President and Chief Inspirer:

Elisa Velarde has worked as a founding member of the Critical Infrastructure Protection
Practice for one of the world’s largest business consulting, systems integration and managed
services firms. She oversaw tier one corporate alliances, government and private sector
business development, and homeland security technology incubators. She has a diverse
business and technical background having held executive and senior advisory positions in
public corporations such as DIGEX/MCI as well as entrepreneurial ventures. Elisa has also
contributed to the overall top line revenue numbers for other ventures such as the DIGEX/MCI
launch in the UK and France - adding two marquee clients, The British Gas and Diageo, Inc.
which resulted in well over $2.0 million dollars of initial revenue as well as millions more in
incremental revenues. Elisa oversaw the overseas operation and assisted with building out the
critical infrastructure to support adding $38 million dollars of revenue through the channel
pipeline after the MCI merger which she did within 14 months of taking on the project.

Her strong background in business development, team inspiration and mentoring, channel
sales and management make Elisa uniquely suited to identify substantial revenue
opportunities in a wide variety of settings. Her ability to network with many different types of
executives and government officials makes her effective in facilitating the recognition of revenue
through technology and business development efforts.
